To guarantee berthing visits are safe and secure, we have prepared a guide to follow on entry to Marina d'Arechi by sea.
Before entering the port contact the control tower on channel VHF 74 (active and manned 24/7) to get access authorisation, signalling, where necessary, requirement for assistance by raft. Our staff will be ready and waiting at the berth assigned to offer assistance with mooring.
In the case of receiving instructions to stand by from the control tower, these must be respected. It is strictly forbidden to proceed towards the berth by overtaking preceding vessels.
The speed limit within the Marina is 3 knots. This is the case from entry to the green lights and is in place to avoid dangerous or difficult situations for fuelling. Pilot service is not obligatory.
The Mediterranean mooring system at Marina d'Arechi is "Med" type or "all'andana". Mooring is via two lines at the prow for all vessels, both at the pier and at the jetty. It is strictly forbidden to drop anchor within the Marina.
The fuelling station is operational year-round, with differing days/hours depending on the season. There are pumps for unleaded, diesel and marine diesel. Fuel is also available by high-pressure pump (400 lt/m).
Vessels in transit must register immediately at the Marina offices upon completion of mooring operations. If customs procedures are necessary, only the captain may disembark before these are cleared and completed.
Marina d'Arechi offers the following earthed connections: 16A, 32A, 63A monophasic, 63A, 125A, 250A triphasic. Power available depends on the size of the berth. Adaptors may only be used under prior authorisation.
Swimming and fishing are forbidden within the Marina. The Marina has qualified frogmen and any diving must be carried out only by authorised personnel.
Grey and black water can be removed on request. The law prohibits the discharge of any liquid waste within the port area, and any violations will be reported to authorities. Use of the onboard toilet is also forbidden if it flushes directly into the sea.
Refuse should be collected in bags and taken to the collection area where there are containers divided by type. It is strictly forbidden to dump refuse of any kind on the jetty, pier or near the waste-paper baskets. The Marina observes MARPOL standards for the management of on-board waste. The disposal of large quantities of waste or of special waste can be arranged by contacting the Marina offices 24 hours prior to arrival in port.
Marina d'Arechi operates in conformity with ISPS standards. All vessels intending to enter the Marina that are subject to security norms are required to fill in the "Ship Pre-arrival" form and to send it to the Marina management at least 24 hours prior to planned arrival, or, at the latest, at the moment in which the vessel leaves the previous port, where the voyage is less than 24 hours in length. Any vessel refusing to provide said information may be denied access to the Marina.
The Daily maintenance of vessels, including cleaning and minor repairs, must be carried out in such a way as to avoid causing a disturbance to neighbours and in a way that respects the environment.
The piers, jetties and common areas in general must not be occupied with equipment and/or materials.
It is strictly forbidden to use lighting or acoustic equipment within the Marina. Quiet hours are observed from 14:00 to 16:00and from 24:00 to 08:00. During this period it is forbidden, amongst other things, to start engines for maintenance tests or battery recharging.
