Summer 2025: A Record Season for Superyachts
Marina d’Arechi confirms itself once again as one of the most attractive Mediterranean destinations for the superyacht sector for the 2025 summer season, with growth currently at 20%.
In this early part of the season, more than 150 prestigious vessels — ranging from 30 to 79 metres — have already chosen the new marina of the city of Salerno, recognising its exceptional levels of safety, hospitality quality, and dedicated services.
A record-breaking season marked by the presence of true icons of international yachting: among them the brand-new NYMPHEAS (79 m), one of the largest superyachts delivered in 2025; the Motor Yacht WHEELS (75 m), a symbol of technology and comfort; the renowned TITANIA (73 m), returning for a double call; the elegant KD (64 m); the innovative catamaran ARTEXPLORER (46.6 m), combining art and navigation; and many others.
Among the most notable data of these first seven months are the average vessel length of 40 metres and the high number of repeat visits — a clear sign of the strong appreciation expressed by owners and crews.
“The consistent and growing presence of large yachts at Marina d’Arechi,” says President Agostino Gallozzi Agostino Gallozzi “rewards the work carried out over the years to successfully position Salerno within the high-end nautical tourism segment. It is no coincidence: we continuously invest to offer international standards of quality, safety, technical services, hospitality and privacy. Standards which, driven by the mega-yacht segment, are made available to all our marina guests. We are very proud to have developed in Salerno a market that did not exist before Marina d’Arechi and which today brings significant added value to the territory, including in terms of employment.”
Among the most appreciated factors for yacht owners: the quality of the infrastructure, guaranteed safety and privacy, the availability of tailor-made services for large yachts, high-level technical and logistical support, and the strategic location with direct access to the Amalfi and Cilento Coasts.
